Zipcodes for Pittsburgh Northern Homes
Searching the Real Estate websites for homes for sale can be confusing in Pittsburgh. Some websites offer" zipcode" town names (Gibsonia, Wexford, Allison Park, Mars) and other offer township names as a location choice (Hampton Township, Richland Township, Pine Township, McCandless Township Marshall Township, Franklin Park or Cranberry Township--which is both). If you are not working with a Realtor, you may not know how these items relate to one another or which School Districts cover which localities. This page is my attempt to clarify this confusing housing issue in the primary locations that I serve.
Zipcode 15044 is Gibsonia which covers some Pine Township homes, Hampton Township homes, McCandless township homes, Richland Township homes, Adams township homes and West Deer Township homes. It is only a postal zip and there is no real town of Gibsonia.
Zipcode 15090 is Wexford which covers some Pine Township homes, Franklin Park Borough homes, McCandless Township homes and Marshall Township homes.
Zipcode 15101 is Allison Park which covers some Hampton Township homes, Shaler Township homes, McCandless Township homes, Ross Township homes and West Deer Township homes..
Zipcode 15237 is Pittsburgh which covesr some Ross Township homes, McCandless Township homes, Franklin Park Boro homes, Ohio Township homes and West View homes.
Zipcode 15143 is Sewickley which covers some Franklin Park homes, Ohio Township homes, Sewickley, Sewickley Hills and Sewickley Heights honmes, Leet and Bell Acres homes, Aleppo, Osborne and Edgworth homes.
Zipcode 16066 is Cranberry Township which covers Cranberry Township homes (this zip is also a township).
Zipcode 16046 is Mars which covers some Adams Township homes, Mars Boro homes and Seven Fields homes.
